UPDATE 2: pweadamanteus remarks that a small fix has already been applied, and will impact players as they log in. He anticipates it will take up to 72 hours to propagate through the community.
The Cryptic team is baffled by the persistent rubber banding and odd behaviors in the social zone Earth Spacedock and Starfleet Academy. For those who grew up in the 80’s it’s not unlike an episode of Benny Hill. I wonder where I saw that?
UPDATE: Hey Cryptic – why not just add another Q floating above ESD in orbit while you work on getting the problem resolved?

Suggestion for Cryptic: I realize you want the minigames to be a surprise. But given the major hassle they have become, why not throw these on Redshirt or Tribble the week before? You can test and benefit from a positive buzz. These games are easy and the rewards are very nice. More on that in our next post.
A question about the omega mini game – does the score have any purpose?
I have score as low as 300 points and as high as 800 (and even a lowly 20, due to the rubber bending on ESD) – and EVERY TIME I received a single particle trace.
Isnt a high score suppose to give more/better molecules? (Like the mining and radiation mini games)

Yes it does – the more you get the better the chances for higher value drops. I;ll be posting on this shortly with an update from Borticus
