Redshirt Maintenance Surprise – Hestia gets a Ensign Universal Seat

Suddenly the Hestia just got a little bit sexier 😉  The one complaint was the ensign tactical seat, which for many players seemed to be a throw-back to earlier ships.  Now it’s become a universal seat.

Coldsnapped posted this afternoon a few changes, including a possible fix for the map change crash issue:

We will be bringing down the Redshirt server for maintenance to apply a new update: ST.52.20150823a.28.

General:

  • “Midnight” has been changed to a level 60 episode and moved to the Iconian War tab in the mission journal.
  • Resolved an issue which was occasionally causing players to crash when transferring to another map.
  • Hestia Class Advanced Escort [T6]: Upgraded this starship’s Ensign Tactical seat to Ensign Universal.
  • The Delta Recruit specific “Show Delta Recruit Details” button will now only display during a Delta Recruit event.
  • Adjusted the Alpha section nacelles for the Hephaestus, Phoenix and Cerberus Advanced Escorts so that the nacelle fits inside a recessed compartment and is not visible from the side until the Alpha section launches.

Known Issues:

  • The R&D Daily mission for Cannons incorrectly rewards Argonite Gas.
  • Some players are not able to reclaim the Breen Chel Grett and the Dyson Science Destroyer.

  1. Interesting that they changed the Hestia!

I really hope they change the T6 dread which has an Identical boff layout to the T6 Andromeda

      1. I’d like something like:

        Commander Tactical
        Lieutenant Commander Engineering
        Lieutenant Commander Engineering / Command
        Lieutenant Science
        Ensign Universal

  2. The main problem with the Hestia was not the ensing tac not being an universal
BOFF slot, but the hybrid command station blocking sitting on the only
engineering slot. So you are required to choose just three skills for all your
    engineering and command needs.
