Fan Video of Delta Recruits Captures ‘The Best’ of STO (with a healthy nod to BSG and SG-1)

Fan videos come in all shapes and sizes, and to be honest I’m one of those guys who nitpicks everything from the use of imagery to the music.  The new Delta Rising fan video from Tom caught me by surprise, and I have to say – I love it.

The opening uses the BSG classic voice-over “there are those who believe…“, which has been done to death in so many other videos.  But 30 seconds in, the tempo and aggressive editing brought back many fond memories of STO and SG-1, all at the same time.

SG-1 openings were always awesome 😉

  1. Holy Moly!
    As a great Stargate fan (in the literal sense of the word), I think this one does a great job showing of the STO universe in the style of a BSG / Stargate SG-1 Open.
