The Tzenkethi Front – A Basic Guide for Normal, Advanced & Elite gameplay.

Thanks for the Feedback here and on Reddit – a few updates below: Anytime Star Trek Online introduces an entirely new set of STF’s (Special Task Force), there is a period of adjustment that the community goes through to absorb the new mechanics and establish teamwork to overcome the new challenges.  Sometimes they are relatively easy and reward well enough that they become popular.  Other … Continue reading The Tzenkethi Front – A Basic Guide for Normal, Advanced & Elite gameplay.

Overflow Bag Clarification – Star Trek Online PC Patch notes for 2/2/17

Yikes – it’s been a while since I last posted.  Way too much on the go IRL, and little if any time leftover for my second-favourite endgame activity – nattering on about the good, the bad, and the ugly in Star Trek Online.  Tonight, it’s a little more on the good news side after the bug-plagued launch of the Tzenkethi Battlezone. To be clear – I love … Continue reading Overflow Bag Clarification – Star Trek Online PC Patch notes for 2/2/17

UPDATED: Issues continue to impact Day 2 of Artifacts release, some fixes work, full fix ETA TBD.

Let’s start this blog post by taking a deep breath, and by thanking CrypticSpartan for what can only be described as one hell of a 48-hours.  Between the forums, Reddit and redditchat – Spartan was there constantly answering questions and identifying issues, and generally helping us keep our collective heads on while the community deals with graphics and kit issues.  Over on the PWE side of the company, … Continue reading UPDATED: Issues continue to impact Day 2 of Artifacts release, some fixes work, full fix ETA TBD.

UPDATED: Oops – we got a leak, from Star Trek Online itself – T6 Intel Assault Cruiser

Release a T5, get a T6 Instead – wait, what? This morning’s release of the massive update accidentally included a T6 Intel Assault Cruiser – if you released and then re-acquired the T5 variant, you’d get the as-yet-unannounced T6.  Several reports drifted into me from players who were taking advantage of this momentary error.  Star Trek Online quickly removed the offending glitch from the shipyards, and … Continue reading UPDATED: Oops – we got a leak, from Star Trek Online itself – T6 Intel Assault Cruiser
