Loadout issue resurfaces again. Fix incoming before the anniversary event?

One of the more frustrating problems with Delta Rising was the persistence of the dreaded loadout bug.  The QA team spent weeks tracking down the issue, making a valiant effort to finally stamp it out after seven weeks.

Coinciding with this weeks update, this little gem returns.

The dreaded loadout bug resurfaces again. Yay team.
The dreaded loadout bug resurfaces again. YAY – just as I start ISA.

Good News:  Crypticfrost reports the QA Lead has been able to reproduce the issue, but is uncertain as to when it can be rectified.

Our QA Lead found a repro. She was able to do so by saving a Loadout while on a ground map, beaming to her ship, changing the ship’s setup, and the when she loaded the Loadout that was saved on the ground map, the Boffs cleared from their stations. Hopefully this will give the programmers what they need to fix this, though I have no idea how long that might take. Thanks for your reports.

One solution suggested in-game was to rename the bridge officers by their current stations, so that when they drop (and they will), you can reassign them quickly.  This seems the best quick & dirty solutions as I have 15+ officers per toon.  This is one reason why I’m looking forward to the new Bridge Officer training system, where I hope to downsize my bridge officer selections substantially.
