Each week we’ll be rolling out an additional reward for the Featured Episode “Time in a Bottle.” This week’s reward is theChroniton Split Beam Rifle. In addition, the first completion of “Time in a Bottle” on an account this week will grant a Featured Episode Weekly Reward box. The weekly reward box gives your choice of an Enhanced Universal Tech Upgrade or a Captain Specialization Point, which gives the character who opens the box a Specialization Point. The weekly reward box, tech upgrade, and specialization point box are all Bound to Account, and may be freely traded between your characters. The Specialization Point box requires the opening character to be level 50 or above. Finally, the first completion of “Time in a Bottle” will unlock the Dance (Ferengi) emote. This dance can be performed through the Emotes menu, or using the command /emote Dance_Ferengi.

Modified by Captain Nog, the Chroniton Split Beam Rifle fires concentrated streams of Chroniton radiation. Its weapons fire deals Antiproton-type damage, with a chance to reduce the Run Speed and Power Recharge Speed of targets. The rifle’s secondary fire can target up to three enemies in a cone, triggering an Exploit Attack. Players will receive the Chroniton Split Beam Rifle at a rank-appropriate Mark, and it can be freely upgraded to Mk XII. Further upgrades will require technology points and Dilithium as normal.

As an aside, the first time I read his name ‘Crypticrock’ I completely misread it, and nearly chocked on my drink.
