Lootcritter here: With the plethora of new ships, and a pending Dreadnought review I reached out to my friend Timberwolf to help fill some of the reviews.  He’s a great source of information and contributor over at The SHOW.  If you’re looking for advice I recommend you check out his YouTube channel, and don’t forget to listen in on The SHOW – the best Star Trek Online Podcast for build advice and news 😉

Quas Flight Deck Cruiser Review:

I have to admit, I don’t buy or collect ships much, unless I get lucky or a ship gets donated to me. Ever more rare is a ship that comes out that I love how it looks, I’ve wanted to fly it since I saw it in the show, And it became a great ship in the game. The last time this happened for me was the Krenim Warship. I loved that and it was gifted to me the day it came out, my birthday, and it was amazing!

So when I saw the Quas appear at the beginning of the Iconian War, I was mesmerized by the design and hoped one day it would have a good setup for a ship I could fly…..and boy I was not let down at all! Right out the box it has a good console layout and Boff layout, an amazing shield modifier, and a cruiser weapon setup with a hanger bay (still getting used to launching them though #facepalm)

Upon equipping it with a good set of gear and several PvE queue runs, I found that I could easily pilot the ship like my Tactical Odyssey, even the powersliding into targets, which meant I would not have to change my piloting style when I used this ship. What was even better that its Boff layout allows me the ability to have more variety in seating and powers depending on the runs I play.

The picture linked is my first run with the ship with hardly anything on it and the video is where I did a pug run with good gear equipped. The Quas performed well for both tests.

I am very happy with this ship, its performance output so far, and its looks. Thomas the Cat and his team did a great job on this ship and still await certain other ships to be released! Until then Timberwolf is signing off
