Awesome Geek Moment: Stop Motion Enterprise II: Beginning of the End
Every once in a while, you stumble across fan production that exceeds your expectations, and sometimes the go above and beyond anything you can imagine. Now imagine that it comes in the form of a stop-motion production. It’s fitting that this production which took eight years to complete would come out during the recent launch of Agents of Yesterday. Without blowing the plotline, this exceedingly … Continue reading Awesome Geek Moment: Stop Motion Enterprise II: Beginning of the End
AOY Admiralty Cards (Including the Vengeance & T’laru)
A tad overwhelmed at the moment – 12 ships pending for review including the Vengeance for Lobi, but not one of the lockbox ships. While some players did manage to get these, the RNG gods once again gave me the Royal stink eye. Ah well, I was lucky before – but I think I’ll wait for their appearance in the Infinity Lockboxes next year before … Continue reading AOY Admiralty Cards (Including the Vengeance & T’laru)
Release/Patch notes for Agents Of Yesterday
Well, it’s finally here and like many long-time fans of Star Trek Online, I’m stuck with deciding where my efforts go first. On top of what we already know – two additional cross-faction episodes have been added at this point of the release. Among the previously not ‘revealed’ is a new STF called The Battle of Procyon V. It also includes significant changes to powers … Continue reading Release/Patch notes for Agents Of Yesterday

Star Trek Official Fan Film Rules Released, thanks Axanar!
This morning Star Trek (CBS/Paramount) released an official set of guidelines outlining the do’s and don’ts of what constitutes fan film productions. Largely produced to counter what the owners of the IP likely see as profiteering by Axanar Productions, the list of guidelines counters Axanar’s efforts on every front while effectively ending hour-long episodic formats used by other fan film producers. Does this mean an … Continue reading Star Trek Official Fan Film Rules Released, thanks Axanar!
Attention to Detail – The Little Things in Agents of Yesterday
Updated with the proper credits as to the team, and further explanation of the origins of the symbols used. Ironic and embarrassing considering the title of this blog post 😉 This hasn’t gotten a lot of attention yet, but the attention to detail in the upcoming Agents of Yesterday expansion has many Tailor fans excited. How you say? Imagine if each class of ship had their own … Continue reading Attention to Detail – The Little Things in Agents of Yesterday

First Impressions: Hands on with the Vorgon Xyfius Heavy Escort 3.5/5 Stars
For most players the process to earn the ship takes little more than 5 minutes a day on Risa. It can be done with a rental jetpack, and from most reports is a simple process to learn. I’m not a fan of the flying game so I took advantage of the Lobi voucher route and finished the ship on day one. There isn’t an advantage … Continue reading First Impressions: Hands on with the Vorgon Xyfius Heavy Escort 3.5/5 Stars
